Flojas Symptom Journal Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 17, 2026  ·  Last updated: May 17, 2026

Short version: Flojas Symptom Journal is not a medical device and is not intended for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, triage, emergency guidance, clinical decision support, or medical decisions. Your symptom records are stored locally on your device. No account, no cloud sync, no automatic upload, no ads, and no third-party analytics SDK.

1. Introduction

Flojas Symptom Journal ("the app") is a private, user-controlled symptom recordkeeping app provided by teJai Technologies LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles and how that information is stored, used, exported, and deleted.

This policy applies only to Flojas Symptom Journal. It does not describe the separate Flojas fitness and wellness application or any other teJai Technologies product.

2. Information Stored in the App

The app may store the following information locally on your device when you enter it or choose related settings:

This information may include health-related information because you choose to record symptoms, body areas, severity, timing, context, and notes. The app processes this information on your device for the app features described below.

3. Local Storage and No Account

Your symptom records are saved in the app's local storage on your device. Flojas Symptom Journal does not require a user account. The app does not provide cloud backup, cloud sync, or server-side storage for your symptom records.

Accounts

No account is created or required for this app.

Cloud Sync

No automatic cloud sync or server upload is used.

Advertising

No advertising SDK is used, and health data is not used for ads.

Analytics

No app analytics service is used to collect symptom records.

4. How the App Uses Your Information

The app uses information stored on your device to save entries, show history, display charts and descriptive summaries, import CSV backups you select, create CSV/PDF/PNG exports, and support local deletion controls.

The app does not use your symptom records for advertising, marketing, profiling, eligibility decisions, insurance decisions, employment decisions, research, or sale to third parties.

5. Data Access, Collection, Sharing, and Sale

Flojas Symptom Journal accesses the information you enter only on your device so the app can provide local symptom logging, history, charts, imports, exports, and deletion controls.

Flojas Symptom Journal does not automatically collect, transmit, receive, sell, rent, or share your symptom records, profile details, notes, exported files, or imported CSV contents with teJai Technologies or third parties.

Your data leaves the app only when you choose to export, share, copy, back up, send, or otherwise move it outside the app. User-initiated export or sharing is controlled by you and is not a sale of your data by teJai Technologies.

6. User-Controlled Export and Sharing

The app lets you create CSV, PDF, and PNG exports. Exporting or sharing is a separate action you control. If you share an exported file through your device's share sheet, email app, cloud drive, messaging app, healthcare portal, or any other destination, that destination may process, store, transmit, or protect the file according to its own terms and privacy policy.

Once a file is exported outside Flojas Symptom Journal, you are responsible for storing, sharing, protecting, backing up, or deleting that exported copy.

CSV exports are intended as the restorable backup format. They include app identity, courtesy, do-not-alter, and disclaimer notice rows. To preserve accurate import, keep the original CSV unchanged and import it as-is. Editing, sorting, renaming columns, deleting rows, or allowing another app to reformat date/time values can make import incomplete or inaccurate.

When you import a CSV, the app checks the expected Symptom Journal column order, schema version, source app, row structure, timestamps, required fields, and intensity values before showing the import preview. If the file appears changed or malformed, import stops and the app asks you to use the original CSV backup.

7. Third-Party Services and Device Features

Flojas Symptom Journal does not use Firebase inside the mobile app, cloud databases, advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, payment processors, AI coaching services, location tracking, camera access, microphone access, Apple Health, HealthKit, Google Fit, Health Connect, Clinical Health Records, Motion and Fitness APIs, Movement Disorder APIs, or wearable-device sync.

The app may use operating-system features such as file picking, local document storage, email links, web links, and the share sheet when you initiate those actions. Those operating-system features and any destination apps you select are outside Flojas Symptom Journal's control.

This privacy website is hosted using Firebase Hosting. Firebase Hosting is used only to publish these public web pages and is separate from the mobile app's local symptom storage. The mobile app does not upload symptom records to Firebase.

8. Permissions and Platform Access

The current mobile app does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, photo library, HealthKit, Apple Health, Google Fit, or Health Connect permissions for symptom recordkeeping. If you choose to import, export, email, open a website, or share a file, your operating system or destination app may show its own permission, picker, or confirmation screen.

9. Retention, Deletion, and Privacy Choices

Your symptom records remain on your device until you delete them, enable an available local auto-delete setting, replace records through import, clear app data, uninstall the app, reset your device, lose access to the device, or otherwise remove the local app data.

If you want to keep your records, export and safely save a CSV backup before uninstalling the app, deleting local data, changing devices, resetting your device, or taking any action that may remove app data.

You may stop using the app at any time. Because Flojas Symptom Journal does not create an account or keep a server-side copy of your symptom records, local records can be removed by using the in-app delete controls, clearing app data, or uninstalling the app. You may contact support@tejai.tech for privacy questions, but teJai Technologies cannot delete or recover symptom records that exist only on your device.

Deleted local data and uninstalled app data may not be recoverable by Flojas Symptom Journal, teJai Technologies, the app store, or the device manufacturer.

10. Security

Flojas Symptom Journal stores app data in the app's local storage area on your device and limits app functionality to the local features described in this policy. The app does not intentionally transmit symptom records to teJai Technologies. You are responsible for keeping your device secure, using device-level protections when available, and protecting any exported files you create. No method of local storage, device backup, file export, or electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. App Store and Google Play Privacy Disclosures

For Google Play and Apple App Store privacy disclosures, symptom records, notes, optional profile details, imported CSV contents, and generated summaries are processed on device in the current version and are not automatically transmitted to teJai Technologies or third-party partners.

If you voluntarily email support, send an exported file to support, or share data with another app or service, that separate user-initiated communication may include the information you choose to send and will be handled for support, troubleshooting, or the purpose you requested.

If the app's data practices change in a future version, we will update this Privacy Policy and the applicable store privacy disclosures.

12. Medical Disclaimer

Flojas Symptom Journal is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. The app does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, triage, recommendations, emergency guidance, clinical decision support, or interpretation of your symptoms.

The app is for personal recordkeeping only. Graphs, trends, colors, severity labels, statistics, summaries, calendars, and exports are informational records based on what you enter. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and for medical concerns, medication decisions, care decisions, or interpretation of symptoms. If you think you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call emergency services immediately.

13. Age Requirement

Flojas Symptom Journal is intended for adults. You should use this app only if you are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in the place where you live if that age is higher.

The app is not directed to children, minors, or anyone under 18. If you are under 18, do not use Flojas Symptom Journal or enter personal, health, symptom, or profile information into the app.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date or last updated date on this page.
